Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers attain five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s value is equal to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your initial bet and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
