Online poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers attain five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s initial card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is akin to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a sum equal to the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
