A number of poker techniques will astonish you with their simplicity. This is sample. Jot down your conclusions, every time you play.

Church of Texas Holdem Verse #three:

Thou must record your successes and your loses; for it’s the sum of all a persons achievements which generate his bottom line.

How detailed is up to you. I tend to consider that hourly specifics and that kind of personal detail is wasted. Basically work out how far ahead you are and what amount (if any) you have taken out. Of course, if you don’t win, note that too, despite how much it hurts.

Don’t omit to write down what style of game you’re playing, if that’s critical to you. (In my expertise, most players hold to what they understand and do not experiment. If all you do is keep up, down and withdrawals, you are light years ahead of almost all gamblers around!)

Give yourself actual goals, such as a ‘dream’ target (new auto, holiday or whatever). When you withdraw, add the dollars withdrawn to your dream counter. The greater the success you have, the nearer that goal will get!
